Crazy Thoughts at Midnight

Lying awake a 12am… starting a blog seems like a good… no GREAT idea!  The things I can share… I even start wording blog posts in my head until I fall asleep.

By the light of the morning, my rationale side (which apparently was asleep at 12am) starts saying, “SAY WHAT?!?!?!?!?!  Are you crazy?  Do you not remember telling people that you have NO plans to start a blog?  None.  Zip.  Zero.  And that’s been your answer for the last year!  HELLOO!!?!?!  WHAT are you thinking?”

I’m thinking it might be time to ignore the rationale side of my brain. 

Who I Am?

Well… most likely if you’re one of the first dozen reading this, you know me as LyndaSLP123:  Speech Language Pathologist and TPT seller.

Those are just titles though.  They don’t speak to who I am.

I’m a goofy, fun-loving, trying-not-to-be-judgemental, mistake-making, creative, wacky, crafty, recycling, hate-to-exercise-but-trying-to-do-it-anyways, book-loving, sarcastic girl with a small hidden wild streak.

Can I still refer to myself as a “girl” if I’m in my 40’s?  Well, I’m going to.  Just try to stop me.  Oh yea… and I can be feisty (or so my husband tells me).

What’s this blog about?  SAY WHAT?  You want me to give that surprise away?  Well, I will tell you one thing:  It’s not just about speech therapy!  All you SLPs who decided to check this out thought this was going to be just another “SLP BLOG”.   

Nope… you’re wrong.
